The problem
behind the screen.
A payment can succeed while a course stays locked. Fixing that symptom requires checking the payment event, membership state, content mapping and onboarding separately.
Make every state visible. Reproduce a failure, compare the expected and observed access, repair the mapping and verify the restricted state as well as the paid state. Keep repeated events idempotent and queued email distinct from delivery.
A walkthrough
you can verify.
- Choose a failure scenario and read its expected result.
- Inspect the member state beside the event timeline.
- Replay a duplicate payment event and check that access is not duplicated.
- Repair the access mapping and verify the learner view.
- Compare cancellation with expiry, then export the evidence report.
Scope and proof.
This is a deterministic browser simulation using fictional data. No payments are processed, no email is sent, and no MemberPress, LearnDash or CRM connection is installed. It demonstrates state reasoning and interface behavior; real provider integration requires separate testing.
The source package includes the implementation and automated checks for its rules. A passing test verifies the tested behavior; it does not establish live plugin compatibility, payment-provider behavior or client revenue.
This is a studio project, not a commissioned client engagement. No client testimonial, sales result or third-party endorsement is claimed.
